Complete the Questionnaire

Begin by completing our guided questionnaire. It's designed to collect everything needed to prepare your personalised, Islamically-compliant will, including:

• Your personal details
• Your family members and potential heirs
• Your executors
• Guardians for minor children (where applicable)
• Your specific gifts and bequests (Wasiyyah)
• Any additional instructions you wish to include

Review Your Draft

Once you have completed the questionnaire, carefully review all the information you have provided to ensure it is accurate and reflects your wishes. You may edit, update, or change any details at this stage before generating your Will.

Take time to review every section carefully and ensure:

• All personal information is correct.
• Family details are accurate.
• Executors and guardians are correctly identified.
• Any charitable gifts or personal bequests reflect your wishes.
• All information is complete and up to date.

Download and Print

Once you are satisfied, generate your Will, then download and print the final document.

We will also email a copy of your generated Will to the email address you provided, giving you a secure digital copy for your records.

Please note: once your Will has been generated, your full legal name is locked, but you can still edit other details and regenerate it for up to 7 days, or until you mark it Completed.

Sign Your Will

Your Will has been prepared in accordance with the Islamic inheritance principles and requirements adopted by our platform. The next step is to sign your Will in accordance with the legal requirements of your jurisdiction. The following guidance outlines the key steps commonly required to help ensure your Will is legally valid and enforceable.

• Sign the Will in the presence of the witnesses; the witnesses should observe you signing the Will.
• The witnesses should sign in the presence of each other and in your presence (as part of the same signing ceremony).
• Initial each page of the Will if required or recommended by local practice.
• Keep the original signed Will in a safe and secure location, and ensure that your Executor knows where it is stored.

Legal Review (Optional)

Although not required to prepare your Islamic Will, we recommend that you have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer or legal advisor in your jurisdiction, to ensure that it complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, especially if:

• Your estate is substantial or complex
• Your assets are in more than one country
• Your estate includes trusts, companies, or business interests
• Your jurisdiction has complex succession or estate laws
• You are unsure whether the Will satisfies your local legal requirements
