Our Approach
Islamic inheritance law (Faraid) is precise, but for most families it can be difficult to navigate—especially when different schools of Islamic jurisprudence have different positions. We built Waseyat around three core principles: authenticity, transparency, and privacy. Every calculation is grounded in recognised Islamic sources, differences of opinion are presented openly, and your personal information is treated with the highest level of care.

No fraction on your screen is unexplained. Each one is labeled by the actual strength of its source — Qur'anic text, authenticated Sunnah, companion-era consensus, classical madhab jurisprudence, or modern scholarly commentary — so you always know how solid the ground under it is.
Every School, Represented
Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali, and Ja'fari fiqh are all implemented in full, not just the one most platforms default to. Where a school genuinely disagrees with itself or with the others, we show every position rather than resolving it silently on your behalf.
